Deconstructing Marriage

"William Lane Craig... whatever are we going to do with him? His analysis of the gay marriage debate is disappointing to say the least. Apparently:

1. Banning gay marriage is not discriminatory.
2. There is no such thing as gay marriage.
3. Marriage has an "essence".

On point #3, I would like to remind Christians that marriage's Christian "essence" has already been tainted: atheists can get married. Where's all your outrage about *this*?"
