This has been my opinion for years now: If God is Love and Love is a blessing from God, and if love between two people is a blessing from God, then Love between two people of the same gender must also be blessed. To do anything else endangers love as a blessing.
God created everyone who is living today. We are taught that God does not make mistakes. Going off of these two statements, God would want the same loving relationship between two adults of the same sex as there is between two adults of the opposite sex. It is time to practice what Jesus taught: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
