We lost a national hero and a true American treasure yesterday. A wonderful artist and a tireless voice for peace and social justice, Pete Seeger died at the age of 94. A great man, self-effacing and more interested in living his principles than gaining wealth from them. His life was a statement that said right wing fascism can never prevail over the human spirit.
