In my experience, many of the people who present these arguments are under the impression that they are either new or irrefutable. Therefore, it may surprise them to learn that all the most commonly heard arguments for God’s existence have been around in one form or another literally for centuries, and all of them were refuted soon after they were first proposed. The only genuinely new argument for the existence of God to emerge within the last hundred years is the presuppositional argument, and even that fails to stand up to scrutiny..."
